The District 3 Track & Field Meet was once again filled with excitement and drama. 16 athletes from the L-L League brought home gold...with plenty more capturing other medals.

Athlete of the Week: Dakota Keefer

Ephrata's Dakota Keefer is our Athlete of the Week!

It's been a wild end of the season for the Mounts, but the one consistently excellent player has been Dakota (Koty) Keefer.

Keefer put 3 goals into the back of the cage last Thursday against Penn Manor... 4 goals and 6 assists in a winning effort against Cumberland Valley, and 1 goal/2 assists in the Mount's only regular season meeting with Manheim Township.

Keefer and his team are into the field of 4 for the L-L playoffs, and will face Hempfield tomorrow night at 5:00 at Comet Field in Millersville.

Ephrata defeated Hempfield earlier this year, 14-9.

The other semifinal is Manheim Township vs. Warwick, scheduled for 7:00.
