Athlete of the Week: Travis Reapsome

Warwick baseball's Travis Reapsome is our Athlete of the Week!

Reapsome and the Warriors find themselves tied atop the Section 1 standings with Hempfield, in part due to his excellent play. He leads the Warriors with 18 RBI... in addition to posting a stellar 1.62 ERA on the mound.

He's also struck out 46 batters--which is tied for 3rd most in the entire L-L league.

Athlete of the Week: Aerika High

Manheim Central's slugger is our Athlete of the Week!

Aerika has just been mashing the ball lately, and the Lady Barons currently sit at number 7 in the first District 3 power rankings released this past weekend.

Fellow Section 3 teams Donegal and Lampeter-Strasburg are above them in those rankings, so it's shaping up to be a heck of a race down the stretch for the section title.

Athlete of the Week: Brandon Miller

Ephrata senior Brandon Miller earns our Athlete of the Week honors!

Miller has been a key part of the Section 2-leading Mounts' hot start. They are 10-1 on the year... the only loss coming to Solanco early on in the year.

Coming into this week, Miller lead the entire L-L league in RBI, and has continued his stellar play this week.

Athlete of the Week: Nicole Allen

Conestoga Valley softball's Nicole Allen is our Athlete of the Week!

Allen has been dominant in the circle for the 5-0 Lady Buckskins. Entering Monday's play she totaled 46 strikeouts, including 17 against Garden Spot.

She was also instrumental in today's 9-1 win over Cocalico.

Athlete of the Week: Tucker Ford

Manheim Central's sophomore hitter earns our athlete of the week honors!

Tucker Ford burst into the Baron's lineup in the season's first two matches. The 10th grader doing his part on a largely veteran squad, getting kills in wins over both Conestoga Valley and Garden Spot last week.
