Lancaster County produces some of the best field hockey athletes in the nation. Cocalico Grad and Donegal's Laura Gebhart part of the Under 21 USA team, and are just the few from the area that have made it to the international spotlight.

So no surprise, when USA Field Hockey needed a new home, they found one right here in Lancaster County. The organization will now partner with Spooky Nook Sports to launch the "home of hockey" in the county - and US Women's national team calling Nook Sports home through 2022.

The team relocating from Chula Vista, California in the summer after the indoor complex at Spooky Nook is complete- which is the biggest indoor facility in the nation.

Nook Sports will host national USA field hockey sanctioned events starting in 2014, including the National Futures Championships, Futures Elite Championship, and National Club Championship.
