[VIDEO] Cameron Ready for Olympic Trials

Warwick's Emily Cameron is preparing for the Olympic Trials for a chance at her dream. 

She is Lancaster County's swimming sensation. Emily Cameron has an impressive resumee, which includes 5 PIAA state medals, 3 state records.

But now Cameron is one step closer to her Olympic dream. The Warwick rising senior will be in Nebraska next week for the Olympic trials. The Warriors’ standout is the 23rd seed in the 200 IM , the 27th seed in the 400 IM and the 58th seed in the 100 breaststroke.

 Every kid dreams of climbing inside the cockpit of a race car; but what does it actually take to have a race car ready to hit the track? News 11 Sports got the chance to answer that question.

Manheim based racing team, Racer X Motorsports, shows us the long process of getting a car ready, by letting our cameras tag along every step of the way.

[VIDEO] Cowboy Monkey Rodeo

The Cowboy Monkey Rodeo rides into Harrisburg's Metro Bank Park.

Rodeo champion Tim Lepard travels the country with 3 monkeys, 4 dogs and a herd of sheep and goats. The shows he puts on have exploded in popularity--and last week, his trailer rolled into Harrisburg for the third time.

He's on the road 300+ days a year, but it's the fans that keep him going. We had a camera follow Tim and his Cowboy Monkeys around last Thursday, and we hope the footage is appealing! Video is posted after the jump.

Athlete of the Week: Brittiny Griffith

Manheim Central's slugging left-fielder has made the most of her first year playing varsity softball.

This week's Athlete of the Week honors go to Brittiny Griffith, who has powered the Lady Barons to both the L-L league and District 3 titles.

She's collected hits and RBI a plenty in the postseason, including an RBI single earlier today to help Central demolish Springfield DELCO, 9-2.

Griffith's bat will have to continue to heat up as Central aims for a return to the PIAA AAA state title game.
