DePietro Named L-L Player of the Year

Manheim Touchdown Club holds 14th annual banquet

Just as Lancaster Catholic senior interior lineman, Adam DePietro was taking his last steps as a high school student in his graduation, DePietro won one last award in a Catholic jersey, the Manheim Touchdown Club's L-L Player of the Year, Thursday night.

DePietro helped the crusader win two of the last three PIAA AA state football championships. The Northwestern recruit adds this latest honor to an already impressive resume. The senior is a two time Pennsylvania Sports Writers' First Team All-State pick, and the reigning two time L-L League Section 3 Most outstanding Lineman of the year.

The two other finalists are Garden Spot's versatile quarterback, John Armbrust and Columbia's wideout Mike Burke IV.

Other awards given out include scholarships to several Manheim Central seniors,
