Clay Running for First Down
Lancaster Catholic's Roman Clay and Brandon Hollister are the Athletes of the Week.
Lancaster Catholic is the definition on efficiency on the offensive side of the ball, and when you talk about the Crusader offense no one can forget about the two men leading the assault on the ground, Roman Clay and Brandon Hollister.
Both running backs combining for nearly 2,500 yards this season, and on Friday these two held their own against Wymoissing leading the Crusaders to their 6th district crown.
Hollister Running to Endzone
Clay rushed for 6 yards and a touchdown, while Hollister ran for 174 yards, including a 34 yard TD run, which would prove to be the winning score.
Coming into Friday's game Clay had 102 rushes for 1,328 yards, averaging 13 yards per carry, with 25 dances to the end zone. Hollister had 120 rushes for 1,134 yards, averaging 9. 5 yards per carry, and 11 touchdowns.
