Bryce Harper's Motto: Never be Satisfied

The Washington Nationals' top prospect adjusts to Double-A baseball.

Harrisburg Senator Bryce Harper made his debut in front of Baseballtown's fans tonight in Reading. Harper has been put under the microscope every time he walks up to the plate after being selected first by the Washington Nationals in the 2010 Draft.

The 18-year-old began his season with the Hagerstown Suns before being promoted to the Sens on July 4th. With Hagerstown Harper's impressive numbers included 14 home runs and 46 RBI in 72 games.

In the last 19 games - before the series against Reading - the outfielder hit .250 with three doubles, a home run and four RBI.

Harper says he loves the challenge of going up against tougher competition in Double-A, and says "if you want to be the best, you have to face the best," adding that he is never really satisfied with his performance and will always look for perfection.
