The Crazy Hot Dog Vendor relishes every moment on the diamond in Reading.
During every second inning, Phrank and Rodrigo run out onto the field to an uproar of fans just waiting for a hot dog to be thrown their way. In his seventh season, the Crazy Hot Dog Vendor has become a tradition at the Reading Phillies.
The man behind those black frames and wig is Matt Jackson, the director of graphic arts and game entertainment. But once he dons the wig and wrangles up Rodrigo, the Crazy Hot Dog Vendor takes over.
Jackson says he loves doing the gig every game and loves the energy that the fans, kids and players bring to the ball park every time he goes out on the diamond.
