In case you missed this over the weekend Lancaster manager Butch Hobson added a new wrinkle to baseball managers taking a base when they get ejected.
After Gilberto Mejia was called out at first on a bunt attempt (replays showed he was safe) Mejia and Hobson were tossed by the umpire.
Hobson walked off with first base, got a pen from the dugout and autographed the bag for one lucky - and confused - fan.
Apparently this is not Hobson's first experience with stealing a base, as this video from his time in Nashua shows (start around 3:00 for the good stuff).
This takes what York manager Andy Etchebarren did a few weeks ago to a whole new level, enjoy!
